Who Are We?  

   We are a private volunteer non-profit Mexican corporation.
   We act as an active advocate for the development of programs supporting 
   multicultural arts and education programs in the East Cape area of Baja 
   California
Sur, Mexico
   

 Our Goals are:

1.  Encourage the appreciation of all forms of artistic expression by
     sponsoring multicultural art festivals and other events that feature the
     work of local and regional artists and artisans.

2.  Raise funds to purchase art supplies and equipment related to art
     programs in schools located in the
East Cape area of Baja California

    
Sur, Mexico

3.  Develop a Multicultural Community Center for Arts and Culture in
     the Los Barriles area of
Baja California Sur, Mexico
which will provide
     a variety of arts and education classes, exhibits, performances and
     workshops for
East Cape residents and visitors


How Are We Funded?
   

Through funds earned from our programs and donations from individuals


Financial Contributions to the Asociación de Artes
del Mar de Cortez A.C.

We accept donations, no matter the size, to support our programs in the community. We also provide a fiscally sound way for donors who wish to consider a substantial donation and receive a charitable deduction on their US Federal Income taxes. We have established a Fund with the International Community Foundation based in National City, California. ICF is a US 501(c) (3) non-profit organization with a positive track record for making it possible to donate to projects in Mexico.
